CORE PRINCIPLES
Honesty and kindness are the foundation of my practice. I want my clients to feel comfortable being themselves, making mistakes, and taking risks. No one is perfect. Learning from our errors gives meaning to our lives. I hope my clients will give themselves a break and focus on their futures. I meet clients where they are. We partner to achieve incremental wins that lead to enduring and impactful growth.
With a history of supporting neurodivergent and queer people, I am devoted to coaching individuals whose voices and experiences deserve greater recognition.

BACKGROUND
When I was younger, I had no idea what I wanted to do with my life other than pursue knowledge. Like many risk-averse people who grew up in traditional environments, I sought the stability of an established profession. When I discovered that the career for which I prepared would not fulfill me, I listened to my heart and followed a different path.
Inspired to live in a community that aligned with my values, I moved to the East Coast of the United States, where I continue to live. With a strong commitment to service, I gradually gained the skills I needed to become a competent educator through years of learning from my mistakes and pursuing additional degrees and certifications.
Working in both low-income and affluent communities in the Mid-Atlantic region of the United States, as well as in Western Europe, I taught students from a variety of backgrounds for well over a decade. In these very different school environments, I encountered people from diverse circumstances grappling with similar issues: focus, time management, stamina, decision-making, self-advocacy, and staying true to their values and ambitions. Although schools aspire to teach these skills, people of all ages can benefit from individualized empowerment. Empowering clients is at the heart of my practice.
